A quick way to relax your eyes

If you're working with screens, it is very likely that your eyes sometimes feel fatigued. Your eyelids feel heavy, your eyes sting a bit, or you're just finding it hard to focus on parts of the screen.

Whenever you need to, you can give your eyes a quick energy boost with this exercise:

  1. Put your elbows on your desk.
  2. Cup your eyes with your palms. No light should come through.
  3. Open your eyes and look at the darkness for a minute.

The heat from your palms and the lowered stimulus should help the eye muscles relax and invigorate them. Repeat as often as you like.
